Niagara is a newly built, detached, contemporary designed, timber framed pine lodge. There are 11 other lodges on the 33 acre site at Penvale Lakes. The lodges are spaced well apart and have been carefully positioned to achieve maximum privacy. The striking feature of Niagara’s Canadian design is the large cathedral windows which capture magical views down the valley and up to the mountain tops. There is a small indoor pool on site which is available to guests.

The Location

Penvale Lakes is hidden way in its own secluded valley at the end of a private drive at the foot of the Horseshoe pass, a local landmark. It lies just 2 miles from the attractive riverside town of Llangollen in mid Wales. The Town is famous for its international music festival. Llangollen lies 25 minutes from Chester, an hour from Liverpool and Manchester and 1.5 hours from Birmingham. The journey from London takes 3.5 hours. There is a small supermarket, butchers and bakers in Llangollen.

The Accommodation (8 Guests)

The accommodation comprises ground and first floors. It is fully insulated and centrally heated for year round occupation. The Lodge has been furnished to a high standard in a modern, uncluttered style. Please note that the accommodation is better suited to a maximum of 5 adults.

Ground Floor:

1. Hall.
2. Utility room with washer/dryer and wc.
3. Double bedroom with 4’6” bed and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath.
4. Open plan kitchen, dining, sitting area with flat screen TV and wood burning stove.
5. Kitchen includes dishwasher, fridge and freezer.

3. Large single bedroom with 4’ bed. This could sleep 2 younger children.
4. Small bedroom with bunk beds.
5. Shower room with toilet and sink. 

The Grounds

The property has its own large decking which is not overlooked by neighbours. There is outdoor furniture and a barbeque for guests to use. Guests can catch trout for cooking on the barbecue in the well stocked lakes on site. There is no charge for fishing but please bring your own rod and tackle. There is space to park up to 3 cars outside the property. There is a communal car park 200 yards way for extra cars.
