Wood Gate is a large Edwardian country house, recently extended with a spectacular leisure complex including an indoor pool, set in a peaceful location off a private road in an area of outstanding natural beauty in rural West Sussex.

Location The house is located between the villages of Balcombe and Handcross in West Sussex only a few minutes’ drive from the M23/A23. Gatwick Airport with fast trains to London is only 15 minutes away and Balcombe also has a mainline train station on the London to Brighton route.
The Accommodation
The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 12 guests. The house has been equipped with a centralised audio system which allows local control of stored music/Sky/radio to master bedroom, kitchen, snug, drawing room, swimming pool room, gym, snooker room and attic room. The accommodation comprises;

The Grounds The property sits in five acres of beautifully landscaped gardens with three large lawns and a rose garden. There is a large children’s play area with slides, swings and playhouse. In addition there is a hard surface tennis court. The whole property is surrounded by a wooden fence and electronic gates and the gardens are totally private.
With access from the kitchen there is a huge terrace with gas BBQ, dining table for 8 people and sun loungers. Ample parking. | |
